Job Summary
Pyramid Healthcare is a leading provider of behavioral health services. The Marketing Representative will develop and maintain direct referral relationships within the designated market, supporting the company’s continuum of care.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide marketing and customer service activities within the marketing department while maintaining positive community/public relations.
Maintain existing referral sources, expand referral base, and develop business relationships in the assigned region.
Assist in setting financial goals for the region.
Input into the overall company marketing plan.
Prepare reports as required.
Interface with program staff to understand client/program/referral source needs.
Complete required trainings and mandatory training hours.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of related experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a related Behavioral Health or Business/Marketing field preferred.
3–5 years of experience in D&A and/or Mental Health field preferred.
3–5 years experience as a Counselor, Assessor, or Community Relations in direct client care preferred.
Knowledge of chemical dependency and psychiatric treatment.
Knowledge of marketing methods in a behavioral healthcare setting.
Ability to empathize and provide strong customer service.
Ability to prioritize and multi‑task.
Self‑starter with the ability to adapt to changes and turn things around quickly.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Attendance and participation in required meetings.
Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities.
Knowledge of federal and state standards, regulatory bodies, and compliance standards.
Physical Demands The employee frequently talks or hears, sits or stands for extended periods, uses hands for handling, and occasionally walks or moves up to 10 pounds. Visual acuity for close, distance, color, peripheral vision and focus is required.
Work Environment Moderately quiet indoor setting with local travel requirements. Employees must provide their own transportation and may be exposed to virus, disease, infection, or traumatic situations in the work environment.
