Position Sales Representative – On‑Premise
Job Overview The role involves growing an established spirits portfolio within the on‑premise customer base, with a focus on opening new accounts in the assigned territory through consultative sales. Success relies heavily on the candidate’s ability to quickly build relationships and to dedicate to servicing accounts. Prior experience with on‑premise accounts and an understanding of how to bring value to a business relationship are essential.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure consistent customer contact
Plan and execute sales initiatives
Handle all customer‑related issues promptly and friendly
Maintain a full understanding of products and promotional schedules
Make effective sales presentations
Achieve assigned company objectives and grow business
Identify and nurture new and underserved accounts
Use all available POS to enhance selling efforts
Know all deals, programming and initiatives the company has
Follow necessary steps when making sales calls
Perform reliable and consistent customer service to accounts
Face‑to‑face interaction with customers
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Handle all paperwork issues in a proper and timely manner
Required Qualifications
Skills & Abilities
Self‑motivated, disciplined, goal‑oriented, timely, and able to prioritize
Goal and results driven
Effective at connecting with a wide range of buyer types
Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills
Strong presentation building and presenting skills
Accessibility
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
Availability to work outside 8‑5 schedule, including early evening hours and occasional weekend events
Years of Experience
2‑year minimum in a Sales Representative role or higher
Education
BS degree or equivalent work experience
