Perform detailed full‑scope and limited scope loan reviews to ensure credits are appropriately risk rated or adversely classified. Provide management with accurate and timely credit quality information for financial and regulatory reporting, document loan review findings, assist in report preparation, and ensure lending practices conform with the bank's established loan policy. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Review loan files of all credit types by performing line‑of‑business and regional loan reviews to evaluate borrower relationships and assess adequacy of assigned risk ratings. Confirm that loans are closed in accordance with proper approval and assess adherence to loan policy, mitigating any exceptions. Analyze cash flow performance, collateral and guarantor strength, and identify key credit risks. Assess loan officers’ adherence to lending policies and monitor compliance with banking laws and regulations. Assign appropriate credit grades, provide detailed rationale, and recommend corrective actions when necessary. Identify loans with weaknesses, describe deficiencies, and create action plans to minimize risk. Maintain current and accurate loan review files, document exceptions, and monitor reports (e.g., past dues, overdrafts). Conduct loan discussions with officers and senior management to ensure accurate risk rating. Assist loan officers and other lending personnel with loan review functions and respond to auditors or regulatory examiners. Prepare loan review reports summarizing portfolio asset quality and recommending improvements. Maintain knowledge of lending policies, applicable laws and regulations, and complete required compliance training. Perform special lending‑related projects and additional duties as assigned. Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking/Finance or related major. Minimum of 5 years as a Loan Review Analyst or Bank Examiner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Seniority Level
