Responsibilities
Inspect electrical construction and installation activities, including but not limited to:
Cable tray and conduit installation
Power and control cabling
Switchgear, transformers, MCCs, panels, and lighting systems
Earthing/grounding and lightning protection systems
Verify compliance with:
Approved IFC drawings and technical specifications
National and international electrical codes and standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE, BS, etc.)
Client, Worley, and regulatory requirements
Review method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and material submittals.
Witness electrical testing activities such as insulation resistance, continuity, loop checks, and functional testing.
Identify non‑conformances, issue inspection reports, and verify corrective actions.
Coordinate with contractors, construction teams, QA/QC, and commissioning personnel.
Maintain accurate inspection records, daily reports, and punch lists.
Support pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities as required.
Promote and enforce Worley’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards at all times.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Relevant electrical inspection certification or trade qualification (preferred).
Valid inspector or professional registration where required by local regulations.
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in electrical construction or inspection.
Previous experience on industrial projects such as oil & gas, power, mining, chemicals, or infrastructure.
Experience working with EPC contractors and multicultural site teams.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and inspection procedures.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently on site and manage multiple priorities.
Minimum 6 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience.
NCEER Certified Plus (Preferred).
Supervisory experience (Preferred).
