Role Summary This position serves as the primary liaison between MDHHS and Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) organizations contracted to provide health care to Medicaid clients. The role includes communication liaison responsibilities, contract management, site visit participation, monitoring and ensuring contract compliance, and resolving service problems for PACE organizations and network health care providers.
Responsibilities
Function as the main point of contact between MDHHS and PACE organizations.
Assist with evaluation, oversight, reporting, and operational activities related to PACE contracts.
Serve as Contract Manager for PACE contracts, including on‑site visits and team responsibilities.
Maintain communication with providers, associations, county and local agencies, and inter‑departmental entities.
Advocate for resolution of service problems that may occur.
Support operational capabilities of PACE organizations as a Medicaid provider; preserve the integrity of the Medicaid program and provider contractual agreements.

Experience Departmental Analyst 12: Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.
Departmental Analyst 9–12: Educational level typically acquired through completion of high‑school and the equivalent of at least two years of full‑time active‑duty experience at or above the E‑6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.
Additional Requirements The use of artificial intelligence (AI) software of any kind is prohibited in all areas of the selection process, including responses to application questions and interview exercises.
Location and Remote Work Physical location: 400 S Pine St, Lansing, MI. Remote work or hybrid work schedules may be considered within established limits; approved remote or hybrid candidates must work within Michigan.
Employees will be provided computers for state work. Phones may also be provided. Remote employees must provide a secure work location, high‑speed (≥25 Mbps download, ≥5 Mbps upload) internet connection, suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities at their own expense.
Condition of Employment This position requires successful completion of a background investigation and a criminal records check.
