We’re hiring a licensed home inspector! You’ll conduct home inspections, document any damages, and provide clients with a thorough inspection report. Responsibilities
Assist home buyers with any other requests regarding the home inspection to keep open lines of communication and adapt to meet their needs
Coordinate with the homeowner’s real estate agent to arrange for access to the property
Draft a comprehensive report, with photographs, to help home buyers and sellers understand exactly what the inspection revealed
Make detailed notes for each home system so that the buyer and seller are both aware of every potential problem on the property
Estimate the potential cost to complete needed repairs, providing a range of options
Go through residential homes or commercial properties top to bottom to evaluate any repairs that need to be made.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, providing clear explanations when needed and informing them of any deficiencies in a non-alarming way as trained by Forerunner.
Keep clients updated and promptly respond to requests so customers feel informed.
Flag specific repairs that might be needed, so homeowners can improve the property before it is sold.
Qualifications
Unafraid of walking on roofs or climbing in attics or crawl spaces
Strong multitasking skills and organizational skills
Able to travel by car and possess a current U.S. driver’s license
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience with residential property maintenance, including plumbing, electric wiring, HVAC systems, security alarms, and more
Must carry proof of Texas state license.
Compensation $67,500 per year
