Banquet Manager – Zachari Dunes, A Curio Collection by Hilton
We are hiring a Banquet Manager
to lead our banquet operations at Zachari Dunes, a Curio Collection by Hilton on Mandalay Beach. This role will assist the Hotel Assistant General Manager in overseeing all banquet operations and managing a team of 35–40 staff. What will I be doing?
Manage daily banquet functions, including planning, organizing and executing breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, galas, etc. Oversee room set‑up, placement of linens, silver, glassware and china according to event specifications, and conduct full inspections. Monitor and develop team performance: supervise, schedule, conduct counseling and evaluations, and deliver recognition and reward. Recruit, interview, and train team members. Communicate function specifications and changes with relevant departments (Food & Beverage, Event Services, Property Operations, Audio Visual, Housekeeping). Oversee breakdown of function rooms and ensure proper storage of equipment. Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards. What are we looking for?
At least 3 years of banquet leadership experience in an upscale environment. Exceptional leadership, creativity, positivity, and a record of delivering memorable guest experiences.
