Key Account Manager
Our client is seeking a Key Account Manager to own and grow revenue across a portfolio of high-impact, global semiconductor customers. This role is responsible for managing complex, high-value accounts, coordinating with cross-regional stakeholders, and driving long-term commercial strategy within a technically advanced manufacturing environment.
This is a remote role with regular travel required; candidate must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Boise, Idaho, or the state of Oregon.
Responsibilities
Own and deliver revenue targets that exceed standard territory-based sales roles, with a primary focus on large, strategic customer accounts.
Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned global accounts, coordinating engagement across U.S., European, and Asia-based stakeholders.
Partner closely with senior sales leadership and regional counterparts to align account strategy, forecasting, and execution across multiple geographies.
Develop deep, trusted relationships within customer organizations to expand footprint, influence roadmap alignment, and identify long-term growth opportunities.
Lead complex, multi-year sales cycles involving advanced manufacturing and metrology solutions.
Ensure seamless internal coordination across sales, applications, service, and leadership teams to support key customer initiatives.
Travel extensively to customer sites and internal locations to maintain executive-level engagement and account continuity.
Qualifications
Extensive experience managing large, strategic customer accounts within semiconductor manufacturing, metrology, or capital equipment environments.
Proven success carrying significant revenue responsibility tied to enterprise-level or global accounts.
Strong ability to navigate complex customer organizations and influence stakeholders across technical, operational, and executive levels.
Experience collaborating across regions and cultures, including working with U.S., European, and Asia-based teams.
Background in structured, process-driven sales organizations with the ability to help scale and formalize account management practices.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally, including training at global headquarters and regular engagement at customer sites abroad.
