We’re looking for a

Pre‑Sales Partner Lead

who will empower our software and integration partners to succeed with Building X. In this role, you’ll guide partners from first conversation to solution design, ensuring every engagement delivers measurable customer and business outcomes.

Partner Enablement & Technical Leadership Responsibilities

Deliver technical enablement, demos, and workshops that build partner expertise on the Building X ecosystem.

Advise partners on architecture, integration, and cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001 / IEC 62443).

Serve as the trusted pre‑sales advisor for Building X applications such as Operations Manager, Energy Manager, Security Manager, and 360° Viewer.

Collaborate closely with Siemens Partner Sales leadership to align regional strategies and support joint pursuits.

Opportunity Qualification & Solution Scoping

Lead technical discovery sessions and design solution architectures for partner‑led opportunities.

Work with partners on connectivity paths (e.g., Edge Gateway, API Manager, BACnet/Modbus integrations) and confirm project readiness.

Guide partners on the appropriate Building X sales motion – Upgrade, Design Influence, Competitive Takeout, or Educate.

Coordinate with portfolio and estimating teams to validate proposals and scopes of work.

Co‑Selling & Deal Support

Support partners during customer engagements when needed, RFP responses, and proof‑of‑concepts.

Ensure proposed solutions meet Siemens cybersecurity and data‑privacy requirements.

Capture and share partner feedback with Product Management to influence roadmap priorities.

Enablement Assets & Marketing Alignment

Contribute to co‑branded pre‑sales collateral, demos, and reference architectures.

Leverage Siemens Playbook materials (Battlecards, Pitch Decks, Case Studies, SoW Templates) to equip partners for success.

Translate technical capabilities into outcome‑focused messaging that resonates with customers.

Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement

Define and track KPIs for partner enablement, adoption, and influenced revenue.

Provide regular performance reports and insights to regional leadership.

Continuously refine Building X partner engagement playbooks based on lessons learned.

Drive and enable Partner Channel quotas.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in pre‑sales, solution engineering, or partner management in the software or IoT domain.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business.

Must be able to demonstrate:

Understanding of Building X (including Lifecycle Twin), Desigo CC, or comparable building automation / SaaS platforms.

Ability to translate customer challenges into digital‑building solutions.

Knowledge of building‑system protocols (BACnet, Modbus, API integrations).

Communication and presentation skills across business and technical audiences.

Experience influencing cross‑functional teams and partners without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree.
