Job Description
Seeking a Regional Sales Manager with vast Pro AV Sales Experience to promote, sell, and secure new business by understanding Peerless‑AV products and customer needs and by calling on those customers. Develop relationships and business both with established accounts and new opportunities, including dealers, distributors, and distributor customers as indicated on the monthly POS report provided, specifiers, and end‑users. Must manage the success of the region to maximize profitable sales growth and may be assigned additional tasks by sales management. The RSM will be responsible for the following territories: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Saskatchewan & Yukon.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Experience:
At least 5 years in outside sales or related position.

Essential Results
Effectively service existing accounts and establish new accounts by smart planning and organizing of daily work schedule to call on current and potential sales opportunities.
Meet sales objectives of the region.
Manage annual expense budget effectively, finishing below budget, as directed.
Demonstrate continual success pursuing and securing new accounts.
Keep management informed of all worthy sales contacts by submitting call information each week in Sales and Marketing system.
Monitor competition and gather, on an ongoing basis, current marketplace information, including pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, programs, merchandising, and other information that may be helpful.
Educate dealer/distributor personnel on our products and how to sell them.
Prepare a resourceful annual region sales plan and effectively execute it.
Recommend changes to be made in our products, services, and policies to management based on in-field feedback and observations.
Resolve customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, resolving complaints, and/or preparing reports.
Assist in marketing research activity as requested by management.
Support other Peerless‑AV sales people and associates while in the field.
Use proper company forms and procedures for all administrative functions.
Treat customers, end-users, and Peerless‑AV associates with dignity, respect, and good communication.
Manage extensive travel (50%) efficiency.
Provide strategic counsel to the Director National Accounts, Managing Director, Commercial Sales and VP Sales & Marketing North America & APAC.
All other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
Professional, business/office setting.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (constant computer‑based work).
Occasionally entering plant/warehouse (can range in temperature, humidity and dust levels).
Occasional bending (at knees) or lifting boxes/packages 2‑50 lbs.
Must be able to wear required safety PPE.
