Sign‑On Bonus of $2000 for eligible external candidates and $1000 for eligible internal candidates. Paid in 2 increments: first installment following 90 days of continuous employment, second installment following 180 days of employment.
This residential sales position requires door‑to‑door sales and you must live in the Foothill Ranch, CA area.
What You’ll Do
Generate new leads, sales, and upgrades; prospect, secure referrals, partner relationships, and conduct door‑to‑door canvassing within your assigned territory.
Create and deliver face‑to‑face sales presentations, assess customer needs, and close the sale.
You’ll Also
Build relationships with homeowner associations, multi‑dwelling unit managers, leasing agents, and others to generate sales.
Assist with training new hires, collaborate with other departments, and partner with leadership to uncover new growth approaches.
Work shifts that include evening and weekend hours to maximize customer contact opportunities.
Maintain the highest ethical standards, follow company policy, and be professional when representing Cox Communications.

This includes a base salary of at least $42,000, a target commission of $3,113 per month, and potential to earn up to and beyond $112,572 annually as a high performer. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
Ability to qualify for certifications and licenses required to sell Home Security.
Proficiency with a smartphone, iPad, and computer.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Ability to walk 1½ or more miles a day and ascend/descend stairs within your residential territory.
Must be able to carry an iPad with case and a light bag with marketing materials for 5+ hours a day.
Preferred
Knowledge of the local market with established contacts.
1+ year of outside/field sales, door‑to‑door, or related experience with quota requirements.
Experience in residential direct sales, home security, or telecommunications industry.
In California, alternative transportation is acceptable for non‑driving candidates (subject to law).
Compensation Base salary ranges from $33,000.00 to $49,400.00 per year, with an annual incentive/commission target of $37,368.00.
