Burrell's Senior Art Director is an experienced specialist who is responsible for the visual creation of print, TV, digital and collateral material; supervises others and has some client contact. Responsible for developing creative concepts and approaches with the project team, developing original design concepts as well as overseeing project design all the way through execution. Typically presents work to executive level client stakeholders. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Brainstorms conceptual directions, both independently and as part of an integrated team. Translates words and ideas into high caliber conceptual designs that engage, enlighten and inspire, maintaining campaign and brand continuity and interactive usability. Has experience in planning and managing photo and video shoots and broadcast production. Develops a variety of creative materials for brand campaigns, social media efforts, digital activations, and printed materials for agency clients. In addition, create assets for prospective client presentations, in-house communications, and anything else our clients or new business needs demand. Collaborates with Creative Director, Art Directors and Copywriters to revise work and refine concepts. Leads group reviews of creative work, adding perspective and taking direction as needed. Leads client and internal creative review meetings, professionally and passionately presenting the department's work, persuasively explaining design rationale to non-designers, collecting and absorbing feedback and offering solutions in real time. Guides other designers in the development of all skills relevant to their growth as professional designers. Keep current on advertising campaigns, design trends, and industry technology, sharing findings with the department to facilitate new ways of thinking, working, and problem solving. QUALIFICATIONS

BA in Design or Advertising. 5+ years' experience in an agency/production company/social media. Significant experience in the advertising industry with a strong portfolio. Significant experience designing for multiple interfaces and platforms in an agency, studio, or product-side environment, with a deep understanding of all creative disciplines, including concept development and execution. Have a balance of branding, layout, typography, and illustration design skills. Enthusiasm to collaborate with production and account teams, in addition to creative. Well-versed and comfortable in multiple presentation softwares. Ability to package up digital assets for delivery and oversee creative through production. Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator. WHY YOU WILL LOVE WORKING AT BURRELL
