About the Position The UFL seeks a Social Media Producer to support league and team initiatives. The producer will create, post and analyze content, support corporate partner and team business initiatives, cover events, and serve as the brand’s voice across all channels. The role will devise, coordinate and execute multi‑platform strategies for internal and external campaigns.
Responsibilities
Manage league and team day‑to‑day social media content and activities.
Provide real‑time platform coverage during live games and events.
Create short‑form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) for distribution.
Update graphic design templates for distribution.
Execute sponsorship deliverables across digital platforms.
Engage directly with other UFL team accounts, players, media members, influencers, partners, and more via social media platforms.
Work with the League to develop effective social campaigns for internal and third‑party initiatives, including sponsored executions.
Support and proactively ideate new emerging features on existing platforms.
Monitor activity and social chatter for potential news leads for the editorial team.
Keep current with UFL news, teams, rosters, fan bases, brands and products.
Stay up to date on daily, weekly, and monthly social media needs of sponsorships, community relations, and youth program activations.
Monitor players’ social media accounts and work with them to create unique, engaging content when possible.
Remain informed and familiar with social/digital content trends.
Collaborate with the social team to coordinate content plans and establish a style guide/tone.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in digital/social media editing and channel management.
Strong problem‑solving and project‑management capabilities.
Organized and detail‑oriented with exceptional time‑management and multi‑tasking abilities.
Ability to work a non‑traditional schedule, including nights and weekends during UFL games and live TV programming.
Strong understanding of existing and emerging social platforms and analytics tools to measure and elevate social efforts.
Knowledge of what works on social media.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop editing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, impeccable grammar and diction.
Passion for emerging media trends and technology, including social platforms.
In‑depth knowledge of football (formations, X’s and O’s, terminology, history, etc.).
Passion for pop culture.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Other Duties Primary work in an office environment with occasional attendance at select UFL team events and games. Requires sitting at a desk for prolonged periods, traveling to all games, lifting up to 15 pounds at times, and a flexible schedule that includes weekends, nights, and holidays.
