Position Summary This skilled position involves the maintenance and repair of company mobile equipment and machinery. The mechanic analyzes malfunctions, rebuilds, and maintains construction equipment such as trucks, trailers, hot mix asphalt drum plants, paving machines, motor graders, trench‑digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, excavators, rollers, pumps, compressors, and pneumatic tools. Duties include operating and inspecting machines or equipment to diagnose defects, dismantling and reassembling equipment using hoists and hand tools.
Responsibilities
Maintain mobile equipment and machinery
Analyze and repair malfunctions
Rebuild and maintain construction equipment
Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects
Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools
Follow company safety programs and policies
Qualifications
Minimum 18 years old
Valid driver’s license
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License preferred with appropriate endorsements
Experience or knowledge in diesel mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Computer skills for equipment diagnostics
Physically fit and able to endure long workdays, including Saturdays
