Your role As a Communications Manager, Holding Japan, your mission is to mirror the role of our global corporate communications function, which includes employer branding, media relations, events, internal communications, and crisis management.

You will collaborate closely with your communication colleagues in the Holding region as well as with the Group’s Corporate Communications team. With their support, you will drive the development of a communication strategy for Japan, set targets and execute agreed activities. In cooperation with Human Resources, you will develop a unified approach to attract future employees to position Atlas Copco Group in Japan as the preferred employer in our prioritized target groups. You will report to Vice President, Holding Japan and South Korea.

Responsibilities

Lead all corporate communication and branding activities, ensuring alignment with Group identity and standards.

Chair the local Communications and Employer Branding network to share strategies and directions.

Manage internal communication, including regional and local news distribution.

Act as the primary representative of the Group locally for practical communication matters.

Coordinate with Group on local press releases and serve as the main media contact point.

Oversee governance and content for the local group site, hub front page, and regional hub site.

Develop and enforce local publishing policies and manage media relations effectively.

Identify and support synergy opportunities across Japan to strengthen Group presence.

Serve as the main contact point for Employer Branding initiatives in Japan.

Attend internal and external events on behalf of the VP Holding when required.

Align with Holding Communication colleague in the region.

You have minimum 5 years of experience, working as a Communication professional or management role with

Up-to-date knowledge and interest in digital content creation.

A clear and structured communications process throughout the company, both for external and internal purpose.

A well-functioning employer branding strategy and tactics which supports and drives our vision to be First in Mind - First in Choice® among current and future employees.

Having a good and solid relationship with the targeted media which results in constructive media coverage.

Bringing experience in managing communication projects in multinational organizations.

A proactive team player with great networking skills and a have a lot of drive.

Native in Japanese and fluent in English.

Job Location On-Site: This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Tokyo, or any relevant location of the Group, Japan (JP). You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
