Position Summary The MedscapeLIVE! producer is a key contributor to the overall success of the Live Business Unit, the producer oversees live events both domestically and globally. A key component of the position is the ability to organize, budget, produce, edit and direct live events. Producing engaging multimedia to support medical education at medical conferences, webinars and virtual conferences are the essential skills required for this position.
What You’ll Do
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, be highly organized while working well under pressure in fast-paced environments,
Produce and edit videos across all of the Live Business Units verticals
Produce/Direct both live and simulcast webinars and virtual conferences
Expertise in multiple streaming platforms
Oversee and produce the set up of symposiums domestically and globally to ensure all technical requirements are in place
Multitask while working with outside vendors to produce live events and conferences
Work hands-on with a robotic camera system at conferences/sympos/video shoots
Develop partnerships and relationships with high-end production companies
Work with senior leadership to promote innovation in the health carespace
Apply organizational skills for tracking events timelines and budgets, expertise in Excel and Microsoft Suites, Workfront, Smartsheet as well as other organizational tools

Someone who can adapt to change quickly while working collaboratively with clients and internal business units.
When necessary the ability to have some Macgyver skills when in person or virtually to troubleshoot
A professional who takes pride in delivering the best quality production possible
An eager professional who takes on challenging projects with excellent time management skills during periods of high volume deliverables
Qualifications
Experience producing the production at conferences and symposiums in conference centers/hotels and other venues
Streaming experience (Live Stream, Vmix, Vimeo) working on hybrid projects/events
Excellent organizational skills
Exceptional knowledge of video producing and editing (Adobe Suite)
After Effects a plus
Experience setting up and directing shoots in studio and on location
Experience setting up and controlling robotic cameras and SLR cameras
Demonstrated experience in video production and post production for the web
Willing to travel domestically/on occasion globally
Experience producing and editing marketing initiatives and sizzle reels
3+ years working in multimedia/live events producing compelling events and content that drives membership
Salary Range: $75,000 - $82,000
