Primary Purpose Provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher. Assist in preparing, conducting, and managing classroom activities.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate.
Valid Texas educational aide certificate (can apply after hiring).
Special Knowledge/Skills
Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
Ability to work well with children.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Experience
Experience working with children; may include work in church-related schools, day camps, youth groups, private schools, licensed day-care centers, or similar settings.
Work Schedule 187 days.
Salary Pay Grade 2/Clerical/Paraprofessional Hiring Schedule - Instructional Para.
Screenings may begin 5 school days from date posted. Position will remain posted until filled.
