Duties & Responsibilities
Oversees the overall content and flow of the show, ensuring alignment with creative and strategic goals.
Collaborates closely with talent, ensuring they are prepared for each segment.
Manages all pre‑production activities, including script reviews, shot lists, and segment planning.
Coordinates with graphics, video tape (VT) operators, and replay teams to ensure timely delivery of assets.
Directs communication between departments to ensure smooth execution during live broadcasts.
Assists with managing the production timeline, making decisions on pacing and content inclusion/exclusion.
Ensures post‑production activities, such as content reviews and edits, are completed to the required standards.
Supervises the Associate Producer and assigns tasks related to segment management and research.
Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to problem solve and make decisions
Ability to multi‑task with frequent interruptions
Dedication and motivation to initiate, lead and support value‑added projects
Meticulous attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, and project a positive, professional attitude
Knowledge of NCAA, Big 12, and University rules and regulations related to position
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations
Outstanding organizational skills, including a strong design sense and close attention to detail
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with a prior college or university.
