Position Summary The Social Media Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing social media content across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness, engage audiences, and support business goals. This role involves managing content creation, analytics, community interactions, and paid social campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (text, images, videos, live streams) across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X and YouTube.

Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with GOLDLAW-approved goals.

Maintain daily postings and weekly editorial calendars for the firm’s accounts.

Track trends, audience behavior, paid social media campaigns, and promotions.

Monitor competitor activities, news events affecting clients, platform developments and manage related expenses.

Respond to comments, messages and mentions to foster community engagement.

Analyze performance metrics and prepare monthly reports with actionable insights.

Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, event planners and leadership for content execution.

Stay current on social media trends, tools and best practices.

Provide paid social campaign information to leadership to optimize ROI.

Social Media Analytics & Research Responsibilities

Use analytics tools to track and report key performance metrics, offering insights and recommendations.

Monitor and analyze engagement data (likes, shares, comments, traffic sources, CTAs, conversions).

Assist in setting up and optimizing analytics tools for audience behavior insights.

Identify and track KPIs for all digital and social media campaigns.

Conduct market and trend research to identify emerging topics, hashtags, audience interests and competitor activity.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field (preferred).

2+ years of experience managing social media accounts professionally.

Proficiency with analytics tools (HubSpot, Canva, Asana, Social Pilot, CapCut, Mailchimp, Meta, Google Analytics).

Strong copywriting, content creation and communication skills.

Understanding of SEO and digital marketing fundamentals.

Work Environment The role operates in a professional office setting and in the field at events with the public. It requires standard office equipment usage and moderate physical activity.

Physical Demands Standard office tasks dominate, with limited physical requirements.
