Dining Room Supervisor (Full-Time) at River Landing
Full-time Dining Room Supervisor role in the Bistro at River Landing, a non‑profit organization.
Schedule Weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed (9:00 AM – 7:30 PM); occasional breakfast coverage (5:00 AM – 2:00 PM).
Pay Starting at $20 per hour or more, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Greet residents and guests; ensure exceptional service during mealtimes.
Act as liaison between residents, staff, and the Director of Dining.
Assist with interviewing, training, and goal‑setting for team members.
Maintain high standards of sanitation, equipment, and staff performance.
Manage inventory and work within budget guidelines.
Be available to work flexible hours and fill in as needed.
Be proficient in all bistro positions; support staff during peak times.
Oversee menu updates and weekly specials; ensure food quality and presentation.
Collaborate with other departments and attend planning meetings for special events.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications Education / Training:
Serve Safe certification; Culinary Arts degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
3+ years in food service.
Skills:
Strong communication, organization, and reliability.
Personality Traits:
Customer‑centric, disciplined, self‑motivated, patient, detail‑oriented.
