Our media sales division helps local, regional, and national brands reach potential customers through multiscreen TV advertising, while our ad‑tech division, FreeWheel, provides comprehensive ad‑tech solutions across all screens, data types, and sales channels.
Job Summary Responsible for developing, servicing and maintaining a base of local clients and/or agencies that purchase advertising space or other media services. Achieve established annual sales goals within an assigned sales team, working primarily on small to medium‑sized businesses in the Detroit DMA with occasional opportunities to work with clients outside that area.
Job Description Core Responsibilities
Analyze, develop, and present market research and advertising proposals to support client activities and products.
Assist in developing marketing activities to generate local ad sales revenue.
Interact with internal departments to carry out client requirements such as scheduling advertising; monitor account activities and manage collections.
Maintain up‑to‑date customer and prospect records and participate in the development of sales forecasts.
Complete required documentation and reporting for the proper processing of contracts, advertising schedules, sales calls, and expense reports.
Continuously prospect new customers following the company’s sales strategies and tactics.
Analyze confidential information, prepare reports, manuals, agendas, and general correspondence.
Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Demonstrate regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; be willing to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
