As a Retail Sales Consultant, you will be part of one of the largest sales channels in the company. You will act as an in‑store brand ambassador, selling opt-in connectivity solutions and creating lifelong customers through exceptional service. Responsibilities
Connection Builder: As first point of contact, create a welcoming environment, engage with customers, listen attentively to their needs, and provide personalized guidance to help them find the right products and services.
Store Expert: Serve as a product expert, stay up to date with telecom/mobile industry trends, educate customers on options, and recommend the best solutions for their needs.
Problem Solver: Assist customers with billing and service questions, process payments and exchanges, troubleshoot technical problems, and provide solutions for customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Brand Ambassador: Embody the Optimum brand, demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm in all customer interactions, and create a lasting positive impression.
Team Builder: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure an exceptional customer experience, share knowledge, assist with complex inquiries, and support a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
Minimum of one year of retail selling experience.
Effective communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
Proficient computer and technical skills to support customer solutions.
Some locations may require travel to other stores within 35 miles; discussed during interview.
Physical abilities: standing for prolonged periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Work full time and weekends as necessary.
