Job Summary
The Sales & Account Support Coordinator plays a key role in supporting overall sales organization while taking ownership of building, managing, and growing relationships with independent and specialty retailers across domestic and international markets.
This role ensures accounts receive exceptional service, accurate order processing, and proactive engagement to increase sell‑in and sell‑through.
In addition to focusing on Independent & Specialty business development, the position also provides day‑to‑day administrative, analytical, and project support to the Sales Director and VP of Sales.
A successful candidate will be detail‑oriented, proactive, highly organized, and capable of coordinating cross‑functional efforts to support sales growth initiatives.
Job Description
Account Management & Sales Development
Serve as the primary contact for independent and specialty store accounts while supporting all other accounts as needed.
Build account relationships through proactive outreach, seasonal check‑ins, reorder support, and assortment recommendations.
Introduce new product launches through tools such as: Market‑specific line sheets, Curated assortments, Seasonal product highlight campaigns.
Plan and host virtual line review meetings or group product launch presentations for independent retailers.
Identify new business opportunities, account expansion potential, and cross‑selling opportunities.
Provide general support to the Sales Director and VP of Sales, assisting in account follow‑ups, presentations, sales reports, and ongoing sales initiatives.
Order Management & ERP (NES) Processing
Enter customer orders into NES with accuracy.
Monitor order status, allocations, and backorders; coordinate with Operations and Logistics to secure on‑time fulfillment.
Track shipments, resolve order discrepancies, and prepare revised documentation as needed.
Review account performance weekly to identify replenishment opportunities or low–inventory risk.
Sales Support, Reporting & Coordination
Support the Sales VP and Sales Director on daily tasks, sales analyses, and strategic projects.
Assist in preparing sales decks, assortment proposals, market meeting materials, and trade show support documents.
Compile customer feedback to share with internal teams (Merchandising, Marketing, Product Development).
Maintain organized sales files, line sheets, pricing lists, and customer‑specific documents.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Complete customer, vendor, and partner templates—including onboarding forms, compliance documents, product setup sheets—by coordinating with Sales, Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
Collaborate with Merchandise Planning to align inventory availability, promotional calendars, and reorder flows.
Partner with Marketing/Creative to ensure product content, images, and descriptions are accurate and compelling.
Identify inefficiencies in reporting, product setup, or order flow; propose process improvements that support the scalability of the Sales team.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in wholesale, sales operations, account coordination, or customer support (jewelry/fashion preferred but not required).
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal).
Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
Experience with ERP systems (NES preferred), Excel/Sheets, and sales reporting tools.
Proactive mindset with willingness to take initiative and drive growth.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work cross‑functionally with Sales, Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations.
