Summary
The Sales and Reset Specialist plays a critical dual role at Columbia Distributing, combining core merchandising execution with specialized reset and sales support responsibilities. This position ensures products are consistently stocked, rotated, and presented to brand standards while also leading and supporting in-store resets, schematic execution, and sales‑driven initiatives. Working closely with Sales, Delivery, and retail partners, the Sales and Reset Specialist helps drive executional excellence, improve shelf presence, and support strategic initiatives across assigned accounts.
This is a project‑based position designed to support a defined reset and merchandising initiative. The role will remain in place through the completion of the reset work. Based on business needs and individual performance, there may be an opportunity for conversion to a full‑time role following project completion.
Primary Responsibilities
Work product from store back stock and/or delivery loads within assigned retail accounts; handle cases, bottles, and cans of non‑alcoholic beverages for the purpose of sale or storage.
Stock, rotate, and maintain product in cold boxes, on dry shelves, and within displays, ensuring proper rotation, freshness, and visual standards.
Build, maintain, and refresh displays and point‑of‑sale (POS) materials in accordance with merchandising and reset requirements.
Execute and support in‑store product resets, including shelf resets, schematic changes, seasonal transitions, and new item placements, ensuring alignment with sales strategy and brand standards.
Assist the Sales team with planning, selling, and conducting resets in retail accounts.
Engage in direct communication with store personnel, Sales teammates, Supervisors, and Managers to ensure daily merchandising needs and reset expectations are met.
Drive a personal vehicle on an assigned route (no product transported in personal vehicles).
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Core Values at all times.
Complete all other tasks or projects assigned.

Work Environment This job operates in our accounts, mostly indoors with occasional outdoor work.
Physical Demands
Lift/carry 50 lbs. repetitively and up to 60 lbs.
Push/pull up to 100 lbs. with the use of manual cart or pallet jack.
Bend/stoop/crouch/squat; use arms, wrists, hands, grasp.
Climb stairs.
Work indoors and outdoors.
Must be able to drive and operate a vehicle for driving positions.
Must be able to operate manual, non‑powered equipment.
Expected Hours of Work This is a full‑time position. Days/hours of work vary and may include overtime as necessary. Must be available to work both weekend days.
Travel Local travel required. Regional travel may be requested.
Required Education and Experience
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required for driving positions.
Must own and be able to operate a mobile smart phone device.
Preferred Education and Experience
Previous grocery or retail experience.
Compensation
Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in the company’s 401(k) plan. Employees also eligible for 80 hours of vacation every year and 7‑8 days of paid holidays throughout the calendar year (depending on location).
Hired applicant may be eligible for incentives, bonuses, and annual bonuses.
