Job Description The Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance) is responsible for profitable growth and achieving business goals by driving new business sales and understanding customers’ needs to build rapport and trust. This position focuses on attracting new customers, cross‑selling existing customers, and building a book of business within the market/retail location. The agent sells to walk‑in customers, markets products outside the office via marketing calls and in‑person visits, and assists customers in the office.

Minimum Qualifications
0–2 years of experience
P&C licensing preferred or must obtain required licensure within 90 days of joining
Preferred Skills and Competencies
Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products
Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales, cross‑sell, and retention
Builds a sales pipeline through community contacts and active physical presence (e.g., car dealerships, local events, community organizations)
Initiates outbound calling to established target customer base for product offerings
Monitors key competitors and proposes initiatives to improve market position
Works with Direct Sales Leadership to plan and manage marketing and sales processes
Delivers optimal results in quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance, with compliance to all rules and standards
Understands and promotes current company underwriting guidelines and policy changes
Receives customer payments, issues receipt, and verifies cash drawer reports
Compensation Base compensation : $20.00 per hour
Additional incentive pay (commissions and bonuses) is based on individual and team performance.
