Location: Culver City, CA – Retail shop
Airgas is hiring for an Inside Sales representative with a CDL in Culver City.
Pay and Schedule
Pay: $24‑26 per hour depending on experience.
Home daily position servicing Culver City and surrounding areas.
Morning start time; Monday‑Friday schedule with occasional weekend shifts.
Drive a B‑truck CDL.
Key Responsibilities
Sells medical, industrial, and specialty gases, welding equipment, and hard goods to customers.
Responds to walk‑in or telephone inquiries and assists customers with product needs.
Receives payment, enters sales into the computer, and ensures all administrative and accounting procedures are followed.
Wraps and bags purchases and helps customers load merchandise into their vehicles.
Follows all safety procedures for cylinder handling and storage.
Maintains showroom cleanliness per management procedures.
Loads, delivers, and unloads orders of hard goods and gas cylinders to customers.
Performs pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, documents deficiencies, and ensures all safety items are operational.
Required Qualifications
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT endorsement (or ability to obtain within 60 days) and Airbrake endorsements.
Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card, and endorsements.
No more than two traffic convictions or at‑fault accidents in the last three years (or one of each).
No driving while under the influence within the last seven years.
Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment.
Able to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with material‑handling equipment assistance.
One year CDL driving experience in the last five years, or proof of completion of trucking school within the last 12 months.
Preferred Qualifications
Computer skills using Google products.
Knowledge of gas/welding equipment.
Proficiency in English and Spanish.
