OVERVIEW
SIOR Global is seeking to fill six (6) Regional Director positions, each serving for a 2-year term (2026-2028). Regional Directors play a key role as the main volunteer liaison between chapter leaders and SIOR Global leadership. SIOR Europe |

Connecticut/Western Massachusetts, New England, New Jersey, New York Downstate, Upstate New York Chapters SIOR West Region
| Arizona, Greater Los Angeles, Inland Empire & Orange County, Northern California/Northern Nevada, San Diego, Southern Nevada Chapters Candidates may only apply for the region in which their chapter belongs. SCOPE & IMPACT
Leadership Development Attend and actively participate in Chapter Leadership Council meetings and in the Leadership Conference Promote SIOR and assist with recruitment of new members Serve as Admissions Chair for areas within their region that do not fall under a chapter’s jurisdiction Have final sign-off on GFI thresholds for chapters in their region Communications Attend and actively participate in monthly Regional Director calls Conduct bi‑monthly calls with chapter leadership Complete a Regional Report on the status of chapters in their region Events Facilitate the discussion and planning of regional and/or sub‑regional conferences Looking Ahead Recruit prospective candidates for leadership from within their region, including for the Regional Director position Following term as Regional Director, serve on the Nominating Committee (2‑year term) IN-PERSON MEETINGS & TRAVEL
Spring & Fall Events | Location Varies Governance‑directed chapter/regional travel, as needed International conference optional, but recommended RECOMMENDED COMPETENCIES
