Lulakate is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Manager to run our Manhattan Showroom.
This person will be an integral part of our DTC sales team and own customer service of our retail clients.
The right candidate will be proactive, self directed, stylish, and personable!
Duties
Prepare for client appointments by cleaning and organizing showroom, pulling requested styles, and reviewing customer requests.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Assist clients in trying on the dresses and assist with measurements and sizing as needed.
Host private client appointments—usually these are for brides shopping for their bridal parties for their wedding day.
Send recaps of each appointment (IE favorite styles, links to appropriate products, etc) to ensure excellent client communication.
Maintain and organize swatch library.
Process dress shipments to stores.
Organize sample shipping as needed for clients, creators, and retail stores.
Maintain weekly sales reports.
Meet with clients virtually over video calls.
Train and manage our part‑time stylists.
Studio/Showroom Maintenance—keeping inventory of supplies, samples, food and drink for clients, office supplies, etc. and reordering/organizing as needed.
Organize retail activations (e.g., trunk shows, sip and shops, bridal previews).
Requirements
Previous experience in high‑end fashion retail sales a must.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must have basic knowledge of dress fabrics, styles, and construction so you can communicate with customers meaningfully as they select their custom styles.
Must be timely, prompt, and organized.
Must have a interest in style, fashion, and design.
Must be a self‑starter—someone who can totally own the upkeep of our showroom.
This is a full‑time, salaried, in‑person position. Schedule will vary week to week as weekend coverage will be needed approximately every other weekend.
