Mission and Purpose Family Promise in Anoka County (FPAC) is a nonprofit organization providing an array of services to families struggling with homelessness and housing insecurity. With a goal of moving families to permanent, sustainable housing, Family Promise provides individualized, person‑centered, trauma‑informed care and case management to help families address barriers and set achievable goals for housing stability. Community engagement and support from volunteers from 21 local congregations and numerous community partners help us advance our mission—empowering families experiencing housing insecurity to build a foundation of lasting independence. In a year, Family Promise serves about 20 families in our shelter program and 40–50 in our prevention and stabilization programs.

Position Family Promise is seeking a Prevention and Housing Manager to start in February 2026. This is a full‑time position scheduled at 36 hours/week with 3‑4 days in‑office per week as well as some remote work times. There will be some evening hours and occasional weekend hours. Wages will be $26–30/hour, depending on education, skills, licensure or certificates, and years of experience related to the job duties; a slightly higher rate is possible for candidates with an advanced degree and licensure in social work. A health stipend and retirement match are available, but no insurance or other benefits are currently included. Position will be based out of our Family Service Center in Coon Rapids, MN, with some travel around Anoka County.
