Drafter/Designer
The Drafter/Designer will play a crucial role in supporting engineering and design projects in the power generation, industrial, or commercial sectors. The position requires the ability to read and interpret drawings and standards, utilizing AutoCAD and Revit to solve complex problems and ensure compliance with relevant codes.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret drawings and standards to analyze and solve problems.
Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for design and drafting tasks.
Assist in engineering and design projects supporting power generation, industrial, or commercial sectors.
Ensure engineering designs comply with customer policies, procedures, and regulatory codes.
Prepare drawings, permits, and other documents, and maintain project records in computerized systems.
Work a flexible schedule, including potential overtime, to meet engineering needs.
Travel locally to client sites as needed.
Essential Skills
3‑15 years of experience with AutoCAD.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Strong team commitment and positive motivation.
Interpersonal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate degree in a related field.
Experience in MEP design for power, industrial, or commercial projects.
Mechanical drafting experience.
Work Environment This position offers a hybrid work setup, requiring in‑office presence on Mondays and Tuesdays, with field visits approximately twice a month. The office locations include Cranberry or Homestead. The role involves local travel for day trips to client sites, with a per diem allowance for field days.

Pay And Benefits Pay range $35.00 – $45.00 per hour.
