Position Summary We are seeking an exceptionally talented

Art Director

to lead the creative vision and execution for a diverse portfolio of slot‑like tablet games. This role demands a visionary leader who can define and maintain a cohesive art direction across multiple game titles while ensuring world‑class quality that surpasses industry competitors.

The Art Director will manage and mentor a team of skilled artists and designers, optimizing workflows and scaling resources to meet an ambitious roadmap. A critical focus will be on delivering

high‑quality game interfaces

that elevate player engagement and set new standards in visual excellence.

In addition to traditional art leadership, this role requires a

modern approach to creative production , leveraging cutting‑edge

AI tools and technologies

to enhance design efficiency and innovation‑always ensuring legal and ethical compliance. The ideal candidate will be deeply knowledgeable about current trends in game art, UI/UX design, and pipeline optimization, with a proven ability to integrate advanced tools into the creative process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Creative Vision : Define and maintain the overarching creative and artistic direction for all game art, including characters, environments, symbols, and UI. Leverage AI tools to streamline and produce game art timely to meet deadlines.

Team Leadership and Management : Mentor, guide, and manage multidisciplinary art teams with diverse experience levels. Foster creativity, provide constructive feedback, facilitate knowledge transfer between senior and junior staff, and ensure the ethical and efficient integration of AI tools in daily workflows.

Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with game designers, producers, and engineers to ensure the artistic vision is seamlessly integrated with gameplay mechanics, technical constraints and production schedules, utilizing a deep understanding of gaming industry pipelines.

Art Production Oversight and Quality Control : Oversee the creation of all art assets, integrating AI‑assisted pipelines where appropriate to optimize asset creation speed and performance, while ensuring high‑quality standards are met.

Project and Resource Management : Assist in planning timelines, allocating resources, managing budgets and ensuring the timely delivery of all art assets.

Consistently demonstrate the ability to practice Diamond Game's core values and apply them.

Perform other tasks and duties as needed and/or requested by management.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Game Design or a related field.

A minimum of 8+ years of total experience creating art packages within the video game or slot industry is essential, with typically 5+ years in a creative leadership role.

A strong portfolio demonstrating high‑quality 2D/3D art and cohesive visual storytelling within the context of shipped game titles is essential.

Exceptional portfolio showcasing a wide range of game art styles and UI/UX excellence.

Demonstrated track record of delivering successful game art direction and leading high‑performing creative teams.

Strong leadership and team management skills with experience scaling creative teams.

Expertise in modern art tools, including AI‑assisted design platforms, and knowledge of legal/ethical best practices.

Deep understanding of game development pipelines and optimization strategies.

Ability to balance creative vision with production efficiency and technical constraints.

Knowledge and Abilities Requirements

Excellent time management, administrative, and organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be team oriented but able to work independently.

Ability to be flexible and adaptable in the face of changing priorities.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.

Open to design critique, time limits and budget restrictions.

Core Competencies

Understanding and experience in Agile Principles, Lean Development and Team Dynamics in a professional role.

Experience using Jira/Azure DevOps or other enterprise level tracking software.

Experience with Unity/Unreal and other game engines.

Comfortable leading/directing meetings.

Ability to travel for work (1‑6 times a year).

Regulatory Requirements

Employment dependent on successfully passing a regulatory background and credit check.
