Designer – NY, N.Y.: Provide design & tech support for senior design staff, building study models, renderings, and research of precedent images for presentations and drawings, Revit models, AGI calculations, fixture research, and creation of fixture schedule with cuts and details.
Responsibilities
Production of deliverables such as layouts, energy & light level calculations, fixture & load schedules, and detail studies.
Perform light-level and energy consumption calculations, simulations, and detailed analysis of lighting, solar radiation, and energy flows.
Perform Building Information Modeling for 2‑D and 3‑D architectural plans.
Assist the Senior Lighting Designer in complete project management from SD, DD, CD, and CA phases.
Review lighting specs and fixture schedules, discuss with the Senior Lighting Designer, and ensure all time on projects is recorded in T Sheets weekly.
Attend required internal and external meetings.
Write up meeting notes and field reports, as needed, in Asana.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Lighting Design or its U.S. equivalent.
Salary US$66,518.00 per year.
