Role Title: Ship Confirm Specialist (DC West)

Role Description The Ship Confirm Specialist is responsible for the printing and distribution and logging of all documents associated with pick releasing as well as Bills of Lading for the carriers. Anchor Hocking is currently hiring this position for both 1st and 2nd shift.
The Ship Confirm Specialist will report to DC Manager.
Role Responsibilities
Perform billing and pick-release functions
Organize shipping documents in a manner that is conducive to company practices
Review line fill levels at point of pick release by utilization of the SAP system
Communicate with Customer Service, Sales, Carriers, Manufacturing and Distribution teams to achieve maximum line fill and on-time job completion
Log and track security levels
Assist Shipping with clerical work as needed
Review detention charges
Qualifications
High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree a plus
Two years of experience with billing
Ability to communicate effectively and provide training while performing in a high stress, high expectation environment
Working knowledge of SAP (or Warehouse Management Systems experience in general)
Ability to make sound decisions based on data interpretation and experience.
Proficient with Microsoft office application a must
