Overview
This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): North Carolina
This position is a strategic partner to senior leaders, responsible for shaping and driving talent and learning strategies that strengthen business unit performance. It aligns talent strategies with business goals, translates business challenges into talent/learning initiatives that improve performance, capability and associate engagement, leads a skills‑based approach to planning, and ensures the business identifies, develops and deploys skills aligned to current and future needs. Leveraging workforce analytics and external market insights, it informs decisions on skill development and workforce readiness, designs business‑aligned talent solutions tailored to strategic priorities, and champions a culture of continuous learning, career growth, and skill development across the business unit.
Responsibilities
Talent/Learning Strategy – Defines learning or talent strategic plans for the business unit, ensuring alignment with business and organizational priorities.
Learning/Talent Solutions – Develops, recommends and oversees tailored business and organization‑aligned solutions, evaluates effectiveness of approaches and makes recommended shifts, as needed.
Strategic Partnership – Builds and fosters productive relationships with leaders and their teams, acts as trusted advisor for strengthening business performance, demonstrates credibility and trust, and works cross‑functionally across the organization to develop competitive workforce development strategies.
Change Leadership – Guides executives and leaders through change by building leadership capabilities and change readiness.
Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of experience in Learning & Talent Development or Human Resources
• OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Learning & Talent Development or Human Resources
Preferred:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business or related field
Financial Services experience
Demonstrated success partnering with executives to develop and implement strategic talent solutions; strong business acumen with the ability to connect talent strategies to financial and operational outcomes.
Technical-specific certifications preferred
Strong understanding of industry principles and practices
Strong understanding of skills‑focused talent practices
Advanced in talent solutions
Advanced executive communication
Consulting and business acumen skills
Ability to influence and negotiate
