Position Summary
Be a primary beauty advisor in CVS Health’s beauty retail division. Passionate about retail beauty and sales, you will share the latest trends and techniques with customers, building personalized baskets and delivering top‑notch service.
Customer Sales Experience
Seek out customers to ensure a fantastic beauty advisor experience with personalized sales service, effective upselling, and follow‑up to build lasting relationships.
Engage in conversation as customers enter the beauty zone, listening to needs and providing specialized sales advice.
Use verbal skills to generate sales, confident and comfortable in conversations.
Answer customer questions in detail, using product knowledge to produce the largest sales basket possible.
Operational
Explain product benefits and usage, leveraging the CVS beauty monthly sampling program to build relationships.
Represent company sales programs and events, promoting CVS Beauty Club and in‑store promotions to close sales.
Create and maintain product displays, end caps, and promotional materials supporting key brands and local advertising.
Keep the beauty zone well‑stocked, well‑merchandised, hygienic, and compliant for a positive shopping experience.
Execute tester sanitation, hazardous waste disposal, and tool cleansing policies promptly and compliantly.
Training & Personal Growth
Complete onboarding and ongoing training to maintain current sales, product knowledge, and selling skills.
Execute the sales plan, meeting the sales budget and tracking progress.
Participate in sales training meetings and conference calls about programs, promotions, new items, brand launches, sales goals, and customer care.
Outperform prior sales goals to maximize the sales budget.
Maintain a professional appearance in compliance with company guidelines.
Stay curious, excited about latest beauty trends and techniques, and seek further product knowledge.

Physical Requirements
Stand, move, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach or grasp objects throughout the store for the majority of work time.
Perform duties requiring manual dexterity, including ear piercing.
Required Qualifications
Sales oriented, using data and product knowledge to meet goals.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Goal‑driven with multitasking ability.
Independent and team player in fast‑paced, multi‑priority environment.
Flexible retail schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, extended hours, and peak hours.
Must demonstrate ear‑piercing service willingness in all stores (training provided).
Bilingual beauty advisors that can speak English and Spanish (in specific stores).
At least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior beauty sales experience.
Current knowledge of beauty products and brands.
Strong passion for beauty.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred but not required).
Anticipated Weekly Hours 40
Time Type Full time
Pay Range $18.90 – $27.90 per hour (base hourly rate, varies with experience, education, geography, and other factors).
