Position summary
10-4 Logistics USA is seeking experienced and recent graduate CDL‑A (Class A) drivers for regional dry van routes. This role offers predictable regional schedules, modern equipment, 100% no‑touch freight, and weekly home time for drivers operating the Northeast
Benefits
Performance bonus:
Earn up to an additional 3 CPM based on safety, mileage, and productivity
Accessorial pay:
Multi-stop: $20 first stop / $35 second stop / $50 third and subsequent stops
Long Island (borough): $65
Detention: $12.50 per hour (after 2 hours)
Paid training:
Paid mentor‑led training for the first 4–6 weeks; training pay $650 per week
Area of operation and equipment
Regional routes in the Northeast
Late‑late freightliner tractors with automatic transmissions
Primary responsibilities
Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and hours‑of‑service requirements.
Transport freight on assigned regional dry van routes according to schedules and customer instructions.
Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and promptly report defects or maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection records, and other required documentation.
Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch and customers; follow established pickup and delivery procedures.
Ensure proper load securement and adherence to handling procedures for dry van freight.
Report incidents, delays, or compliance issues to management and cooperate with incident reviews and investigations.
3 months of SOLO driving experience with a CDL-A Tractor trailer
Ability to meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements for commercial drivers
Ability to pass required drug screening and background checks
Proficiency in English sufficient for safe operation and clear communication with dispatch and customers
Preferred attributes
Professional demeanor and commitment to representing the company at customer locations and on the road
Reliability and punctuality with strong adherence to safety and compliance standards
Coachability and willingness to learn company procedures and follow mentor guidance during training
