Position Overview We’re looking for a results-driven
Agronomic Sales Specialist
to support strategic growth across a defined territory. This role involves managing existing customer relationships while identifying new opportunities to expand our presence and drive margin growth.
What You’ll Do
Manage a book of business that includes both established and underpenetrated accounts.
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and customer contacts.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
Leverage internal resources and solution-selling techniques to support customer needs.
Ensure customers are aware of and utilizing available programs, tools, and support services.
Collaborate with store teams, specialists, and support staff to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Monitor account activity, report progress, and share outcomes.
Resolve customer concerns by identifying issues and implementing solutions.
Work Environment & Travel
Traveling regularly to customer sites, job locations, and industry events within the territory.
Working remotely from home to manage customer communications, prepare quotes, and follow up on leads.
Collaborating in‑person with local branch teams.
Skills We Are Seeking
Green Industry experience with an agronomics focus
REQUIRED
3+ years of sales experience, preferably in account management or business development.
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
Knowledge of sales cycle and solution-selling techniques.
Proven approach to accessing decision makers at client organizations.
Ability to communicate value proposition and differentiate SiteOne's products and services using professional presentation and communication skills.
Ability to think quickly and make decisions.
Understanding of sales and operations planning processes, statistical demand forecasting, and integration of supply and demand plan.
Agronomic related AAS degree or Turf Certificate from an accredited college preferred.
