Foodservice Sales Manager
to join their team in
Totowa, NJ . This individual will play a pivotal role in expanding the presence of a high-quality, heritage-rich product line within the foodservice industry across the United States.
The role is based in
Totowa, NJ , and requires up to
50% travel
nationwide to attend trade shows, distributor meetings, and customer visits. The successful candidate will take over an existing portfolio of active accounts and report directly to senior leadership, both in the U.S. and abroad.
Responsibilities
Lead foodservice sales efforts for the Brand.
Manage and grow a portfolio of distributor and operator accounts.
Identify new sales opportunities through market research and relationship building with chefs, restaurateurs, and foodservice professionals.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans, setting monthly and annual sales targets.
Conduct regular customer meetings, presentations, and product trainings to build brand engagement and loyalty.
Negotiate and manage pricing structures and contracts with key distributors and operators.
Track KPIs and deliver detailed reporting on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity.
Represent the brand at key trade shows and distributor events across the U.S.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in foodservice sales, preferably with premium or specialty food brands.
Proven track record in growing national foodservice accounts and distributor relationships.
Understanding of U.S. foodservice channels, including broadline, specialty, and regional distributors.
Ability to plan and execute national sales strategies, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in client-facing presentations.
Experience using CRM tools and sales tracking software.
Passion for premium food products and authentic culinary traditions.
Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time across the country.
Preferred Qualifications
Culinary or chef background, or hands-on experience engaging with chefs and culinary teams.
Familiarity with key players in the fine dining, hotel, and specialty retail sectors.
Demonstrated ability to manage and expand a portfolio of high-value accounts.
Strong analytical and financial acumen—able to assess margins, pricing structures, and growth opportunities.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, logistics, and operations.
