About the Team Our Strategic Financial Services sales team is dedicated to partnering with organizations to address and solve complex risk problems. At LexisNexis Risk Solutions, we pride ourselves in providing solutions that directly impact our customers’ ability to mitigate and manage risk.

Job Overview The Field Account Manager role will ensure and grow additional revenue opportunities and protect the revenue base via a total solution strategic approach within the book of business.

Responsibilities

Managing territory projections and plans, and developing and implementing sales activities that assess revenue potential and target revenue opportunities, including driving revenue‑generating activities throughout the household account and its subsidiaries.

Managing customer roadmap retention plans and actions to ensure protection of base revenue.

Creating and implementing effective account/territory plans that include developing and executing a sales strategy for new business growth, forecasting revenue, developing key contacts and building business relationships within assigned accounts; supporting the National Account Manager with on‑site visits, demonstrations and customer educational activities.

Securing meeting appointments, gathering information on customer needs, positioning and demonstrating LexisNexis Risk Solutions products as solutions to customers’ business issues, managing objections, negotiating pricing and contracts, and closing the sale.

Developing gap analysis techniques to determine incremental opportunities within existing accounts, contacting and meeting with account decision makers to identify new business opportunities.

Developing a planning regimen to identify and track revenue trends, recognize sales opportunities, target specific sales activities, and analyze competitive threats.

Working closely in a team environment with sales support and technical implementation employees to satisfy customer needs.

Qualifications

5+ years proven sales experience, with relevant industry or product experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and presentation skills.

Strong organizational and forecasting skills.

Understanding of the corporate and/or professional research process and the ability to quickly learn LexisNexis Risk products and services.

Outstanding networking capabilities.

Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate across departments.

Comfortable with up to 30% travel.

Compensation Primary location base pay range: New York – $70,800 – $117,800. Total target cash: $108,800 – $181,400. If performed in New York City: pay range $74,000 – $123,100. If performed in Rochester, NY: pay range $61,200–$101,800. U.S. National pay range: $64,300 – $107,100.
