We are looking for a candidate with trade‑show experience. The position is open to candidates who can be located in Orlando, Los Angeles, D.C., New York City, Houston, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Denver, or Charlotte. The role requires presence onsite for the first two weeks and quarterly visits thereafter. Airfare and lodging will be covered during training and for quarterly visits, including the initial onsite interview.
Key Responsibilities
Develop relationships with prospects
(60%): Understand prospect trade‑show schedules, brand space plans, marketing goals, and recommend solutions. Communicate with target, current, and past clients via phone, in person, and at trade shows. Attend 3–5 networking events per month. Track customer activity in Salesforce. Present designs and estimates, gather continuous feedback to refine proposals.
Prepare design request forms
(15%): Document client’s vision for their trade‑show exhibit for internal design and estimation departments. Review line drawings, color renderings and estimates before customer presentation. Prepare and present revisions based on client feedback.
Prepare job packet
(15%): Compile project summary, production forms, updated renderings, estimates, job cost sheets, invoices, method of payment, internal order forms, vendor quotes, and graphic specs. Collect customer deposits. Attend kickoff meetings with production. Attend customer preview to verify expectations, and follow‑up after the show or installation.
Ongoing training / department meetings
(10%): Attend weekly progress check‑ins with manager.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor of Business Administration or Marketing preferred, but not required.
Interacts with customers, prospects, internal departments (design, estimation, account, project management), and vendors.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract‑to‑Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.
Pay & Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00–$40.00 /hour.
