Job Summary Morrison Healthcare’s retail dining spaces aren’t your typical hospital cafeteria—they’re vibrant hubs serving fresh, flavorful, and crave-worthy meals to guests every day. We’re looking for a Sous Chef in Columbia, SC who thrives in a bustling retail food environment and knows how to make every plate (and every guest experience) unforgettable.

Your Role

Partner with the Executive Chef to run the retail kitchen like a top‑tier restaurant

Create menus and specials that keep customers coming back for more

Lead a team of cooks and prep staff with energy, efficiency, and creativity

Balance speed and quality—perfectly plated, even in the lunch rush

Manage ordering, inventory, and food cost while keeping waste low

We’re Looking For Someone Who

Has culinary training or equivalent high‑volume experience (retail, restaurant, or food hall a plus!)

Can juggle creativity with consistency under pressure

Understands food trends and knows how to adapt them to a retail audience

Brings strong leadership skills and a hands‑on, positive attitude

Holds ServSafe certification (or is ready to earn it)
