(Future Opening – Florida or Remote) Job Summary

This role is part of the Yacht Specialty group within NFP’s High‑Net‑Worth Personal Lines business.

It focuses on acquiring, servicing, and renewing yacht insurance accounts of all sizes, with a heavy emphasis on large, complex accounts and premium‑coverage portfolios.

The position is full‑time, located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, with a hybrid work schedule; remote work is possible for highly qualified candidates who can attend occasional on‑site events. Responsibilities

Manage an existing yacht business portfolio and expand client relationships. Negotiate new and renewal terms, conditions, coverage limits, and pricing with carriers and wholesalers. Ensure accuracy of policies and endorsements; maintain an Epic documentation diary to track required changes. Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and clients through regular contact and visits. Represent the company at corporate and industry events as required. Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of yacht insurance terminology, coverage, and policy wording. Experience in personal lines/high‑net‑worth accounts, especially yacht insurance. Managed a dedicated yacht book with comprehensive knowledge of market guidelines and placement criteria. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present numeric data effectively. Confidence to make sound independent decisions and handle situations calmly and professionally. Analytical and problem‑solving skills. Education & Experience

BA/BS preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required. Typically more than 3 years of industry experience with a yacht‑specific book of business. Experience with EPIC or similar agency‑management systems preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registration

Property & Casualty Broker’s License required upon hire. Benefits
