As an Account Executive at ShipCalm, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in the fulfillment and warehousing industry for digitally native brands. This position reports to ShipCalm’s Chief Growth Officer.

Role Accountability & Functions

Number of deals closed.

Communicate sales commitments to the customer Onboarding Team.

Keep CRM updated and current at all times.

KPIs

Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Revenue Goals.

Weekly Signed Customers.

Number of Contracts Sent.

Number of Sales Meetings Booked.

Number of Outbound Leads Generated.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Send proposals and negotiate contracts with prospective clients, within approval limits.

Make outbound calls and work on select targeted customer accounts to nurture.

Meet/Engage on SDR booked Meetings (Sales Qualified Leads).

Manage Sales pipeline within CRM System.

Quarterly pulse check in with current customers.

Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscapes.

Report to work in a regular and timely manner.

Attend Industry‑related networking events to generate new business.

Travel to meet in‑person with customers at our facilities or other locations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience level: At least two (2) years in an Account Executive position, with strong preference to candidates with experience in the logistics industry.

Education level: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in business, marketing, supply chain management, or similar, preferred but not required.

Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills.

Professional presentation and a persuasive, energetic personality.

Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude in all interactions.

Proficient in Google suite applications.

Proficient CRM Capabilities and other sales generating software, such as Hubspot.

Organized, attentive, and trustworthy.

Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks in a manner that enables timely completion.

Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands

Working in a seated or standing position up to and exceeding eight (8) hours per day.

Using a calculator, mouse, and keyboard and viewing computer screens.

Using a telephone or virtual telephone via PC.

Travel by automobile, train, and/or airplane as required.

Schedule and Location

Schedule: This is a full‑time position scheduled to work Monday‑Friday, 8am‑4:30pm Pacific time, with possible adjustment for candidates in other time zones, subject to change by business demands.

Location: This position is primarily remote, but must be based in reasonable commuting distance to either Los Angeles or Indianapolis metropolitan areas.

Compensation

Indianapolis = $71k‑$85k annual + commissions, DOE

Los Angeles = $33.00‑$41.00/hour + commissions, DOE
