Nanny Job Available with Russian Family in Erimi, Cyprus We are a family of three: I’m a 37‑year‑old mom, my husband is 30, and my daughter from my previous marriage is 5 years old. She’s very sociable and regularly needs interaction with other kids (so it’s important to take her to the beach and playgrounds). With the right approach, she is quite obedient, eager to learn, and independent (she should be involved in all household tasks). She loves sweets and often asks to buy something, but this needs to be kept under control (only after proper meals and just one treat at a time). She doesn’t speak English or Greek very well yet but is learning little by little. I work 24/7 to support the family as I run my own business, which makes it hard for me to step away, and my husband works in an office in a neighboring city. Unfortunately, apart from evenings and one day off a week, we can’t spend as much time with her as we’d like, so we are looking for not just a nanny but a real friend for her. We also have a cat that lives outdoors and a parrot, and in winter we plan to get a German Shepherd. Our house is small and old but cozy. The car we provide for you is an older but reliable Mercedes. We’ll be happy to welcome you into our family.

Conditions We are looking for a live‑in nanny and household helper.

A private room with a large bed and a quality Askona mattress, food, utilities, gasoline, and a car — all provided at our expense.

8 working hours per day with breaks, plus 2 days off per week, but the days off rotate (one week Wednesday–Friday, another week Friday–Sunday, occasionally other days).

Salary is paid in cash — weekly, biweekly, or monthly, whichever you prefer. If you can accept PayPal, we can offer even better terms.

Paid vacation in line with our family’s vacation schedule. When we travel, you will only need to take care of the pets and keep the house tidy. Any other vacation days can be agreed upon in advance but are unpaid.

We live in Erimi, a village near Limassol.

Responsibilities

Getting the child ready, feeding, driving to and from school, activities, or entertainment (most places are 5–15 minutes away, no highway driving needed), bathing, and putting to bed.

Maintaining general cleanliness in the house and yard; deep cleaning is done once a week by other staff.

Monitoring grocery supplies, ordering online or making lists for ordering, and organizing the fridge (about twice per week).

Preparing a simple breakfast for one person daily (omelet or boiled eggs) and 2–3 times a week a simple dinner for two (recipes will be provided).

Doing laundry (washing machine), drying, ironing (with a regular iron), and organizing clothing.

Feeding the parrot and the cat.

1–2 times a month we may have guests: you’ll need to prepare a Greek salad, roast some potatoes, set the table, and tidy up the next day.

Occasionally, small errands: taking the car to the car wash, driving us to the airport, dropping off our daughter at an activity, or picking up mail.

Candidate Requirements

A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

English proficiency is required (Russian/Greek is a plus).

Preferably under 50 years old; the younger, the better, because that job needs good physical health and enough energy.

Neatness, cleanliness, and no tendency to clutter.

Ability to follow the employer’s instructions and not insist on doing things “your own way.”

Good memory or the ability to take and use notes; organizational skills.

Integrity, calm attitude toward polite feedback, and ability to admit and correct mistakes rather than making excuses, avoiding responsibility, lying, or sulking.

Any nationality is welcome, but Russian or English (or Greek) language skills are highly desirable.

Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.

No work permit required — only permanent residency (PR).

Position Details Live‑in or Live‑out, 15 hrs per week.
