As the
Continuous Improvement Specialist ,
PMC
(Marine Coatings), you will increase operation excellence regionally to support plant performance in the execution of safety, quality, service, and productivity metrics. You will develop and mobilize the strategy for performance management, process excellence, and work teams. Reporting directly to the Senior Plant Manager in Little Rock, AR, and will manage Plant and Regional Lean Six‑Sigma programs while developing manufacturing site resources for ownership.
This is an expansion role; we are eager to bring the right candidate on board. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities
Lead Hoshin planning, directly apply Lean principles to strategic plans, and develop process and resources for plant lean plans.
Set strategy for regional evolution and align people to a vision, mobilizing resources in a matrixed organization.
Develop and oversee site continuous improvement journeys.
Hands‑on involvement in the job to promote engagement through all levels.
Assure the site adopts and embeds the defined best practices as defined within the framework.
Measure and monetize the impact of improvements.
Analyze strategic goals to establish potential projects that contribute to tangible results across multiple sites or locations.
Support the facilities in culture change, main goals, and engagement through continuous improvement activities.
Site visits and travel up to 25% regionally.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or related field is a benefit, but not required.
7+ years of progressive and related experience with specific focus in continuous improvement and demonstrated hands‑on involvement.
Career experience in manufacturing, logistics, paints, coatings, or related.
Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt Six Sigma certification (or previously certified); Black Belt certification is preferred.
Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment leading Kaizen and continuous improvement projects.
Knowledge and application of Root Cause Analysis.
Determination for action and an ability to create programs to improve, providing examples of tangible results.
