Lakeview Estates is hiring Resident Care Associates to join their team!
Shift Details Mon‑Fri; every other weekend required. 6am‑2pm and 2pm‑10pm. The Resident Care Associate reports directly to the Family Experience Director.
Role Purpose The Resident Care Associate is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. This role includes hands‑on care, physical and emotional support as outlined in each resident’s Personalized Service Plan (PSP) while maintaining a safe, comfortable home‑like environment.
Responsibilities
Participate in the development, update, and review of personalized service plans and attend family meetings as requested.
Follow resident hydration schedules and complete meal attendance sheets. Address any residents who did not dine in the dining room.
Know and comply with all resident rights.
Initiate, assign, and assist with appropriate activities for residents.
Daily assess assigned residents for cleanliness, appropriate clothing, continence issues, and changes in condition.
Use proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
Check rooms daily for general cleanliness and neatness, double‑check high‑risk rooms.
Assist with laundry and common area hygiene, contact housekeeping and secure hazardous chemicals as needed.
Complete all ADLs for assigned residents according to PSP.
Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells and reset call bells as appropriate.
Education / Experience / Licensing – Certification
High school education preferred and may be required by state.
Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age to perform personal care aspects of the position.
Knowledge and experience in assisted living industry and dementia care or skilled nursing preferred.
Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours available during peak service delivery days and times.
