Our client is seeking a full-time
Construction Estimator
with
specific experience in drywall, insulation, and metal framing
to join our growing team. This role will work closely with Senior Estimators and Preconstruction teams to review project plans, specifications, and requirements. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate takeoffs, pricing, and bids for commercial and residential construction projects while adhering to companies standards and procedures.
Essential Skills & Competencies
Proven knowledge of
drywall systems, insulation types, and metal framing assemblies , including fire-rated and sound-rated wall and ceiling systems.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing related to interior build-outs.
Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to read, interpret, and understand architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated professional with strong decision-making capabilities and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience estimating drywall, insulation, and metal framing projects .
Prior experience in commercial and/or residential construction estimating.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Word and Excel .
Experience with estimating software such as
PlanSwift, OST, or similar platforms .
Working knowledge of
Salesforce, PlanGrid, and Procore
preferred.
