OPERATIONS - SENIOR PROPERTY MANAGER – NSA STORAGE
Location: Clovis, NM – must reside within 20 miles or be willing to relocate to within 20 miles.
Salary: $24.00‑$25.00 per hour.
Facilities: Three self‑storage properties in the Clovis area. Daily onsite shift for each store on a rotating schedule, including at least one Saturday per month.
Job Overview
Oversee the overall management of multiple self‑storage facilities, supervising approximately 5 locations and 1+ employees each.
Foster a culture aligning with NSA’s core values of Integrity, Accountability, Humility, Compassion.
Host or attend scheduled virtual meetings (weekly to annually) and ad‑hoc meetings as needed.
Create monthly schedules for business needs and shift coverage.
Ensure stores are staffed, clean, customers attended to, and calls answered.
Partner with Recruiting to interview for open positions.
Develop, performance‑manage, and mentor team members; coach on customer service and retention.
Ensure team completes new‑hire and ongoing training.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and financial goals.
Conduct monthly audits of each store to verify bank records, tenant accounts, and policy adherence.
Conduct monthly auctions and ensure compliance with state lien laws.
Review and monitor maintenance and capital expenses to maintain asset standards.
Oversee contract and license compliance.
Position Requirements
All work must comply with safety regulations and policies.
Physical requirements: extensive walking, stairs, lifting up to 50 lbs, ladder use, outdoor work in all weather.
Travel by car to facilities; may require rental vehicles or personal vehicles; occasional airplane travel; must be on site 100% of work days.
Multi‑unit property management experience preferred.
Management experience of a team of employees.
Excellent time‑management, multi‑tasking, and scheduling skills.
Strong customer service, sales, phone, organizational, and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Power BI).
Accurate record‑keeping, math skills for auditing and cash handling.
Host/attend virtual meetings; camera use encouraged.
Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
Pass and maintain a clean criminal background check.
Work Monday‑Friday 9 a.m.‑6 p.m. and at least one Saturday per month 9 a.m.‑5 p.m.; may be on call for off‑Saturday or Sunday shifts.
