Proposal Strategist / Proposal Writer (Remote)
Liviniti, the leading disruptor in the Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) industry, simplifies the complexities of navigating the PBM world by offering a value‑added approach that gives employers absolute freedom, control, and choice for their health plan structure without compromising patient experiences and outcomes. We improve healthcare and reduce rising prescription costs for employers and their employees. This role is fully remote/work from home.
Role and Responsibilities
Manage high‑complexity weighted proposals, working closely with leadership to create customized responses to RFx documents that differentiate Liviniti in the market.
Lead proposal responses across several SME functional areas and senior leadership to articulate solutions aligned with proposal requirements and client needs.
Create new proposal text by meeting with subject matter experts or using reference documents.
Edit proposal language for compliance, incorporating strategic win themes or solutions.
Perform thorough compliance reviews and quality checks of drafts and final proposal versions.
Develop a proposal calendar and project plan to keep proposals on track.
Provide proposal health updates to leadership throughout the development stage, ensuring milestones are met.
Coordinate color‑team reviews to ensure compliance with solicitation requirements and client needs.
Use proposal management tools to engage key stakeholders organization‑wide.
Analyze compliance‑driven/technical documentation to determine customer requirements and understand complex PBM industry issues.
Format responses into a professional template aligned with Liviniti’s brand standards.
Participate in proposal kick‑off meetings and facilitate discussions on areas of concern.
Review and edit content, coordinating with senior leaders to ensure accuracy of revisions.
Submit proposals by the identified due date, coordinating submissions, proactively identifying risks, communicating mitigation plans, and supporting revenue‑generating proposals.
Abide by all obligations under HIPAA related to Protected Health Information (PHI) and complete required HIPAA training.

PBM or health plan proposal writing experience.
Strong organizational, project management, analytical, and problem‑solving skills thriving in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven, matrix environment.
Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint.
Excellent writing and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work remotely.
Ability to analyze documentation to determine client requirements and sales strategy, translating this into compelling language.
Ability to adapt to new, technology‑driven tools such as proposal management tools, online procurement systems, and SharePoint Online.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Full‑time / Salaried / Exempt.
Core work hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT; flexibility allowed, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays as industry demands require.
Travel Little to no travel required from remote location.
Required Education and Experience
4+ years of competitive proposal writing experience in a PBM, healthcare, or managed care environment.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred Education and Experience
MBA preferred.
