Job Overview Ship finished goods to customers safely, accurately, and on schedule by performing all shipping functions as directed. Receive finished goods from manufacturing. Ensure the proper storage and bin allocation for finished products and input accurate records into company systems. Review daily shipping requirements. Wrap, tag and prep pallets for shipping. Create bills of lading. Verify shipments against packing slips. Load trucks in accordance to Department of Transportation weight requirements. Process electronic records accurately.
Responsibilities Essential Duties - Order does not necessarily indicate duty importance.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Follow and ensure compliance to quality system and cGMP programs.
Ship inventory. Schedule, load, unload. Complete Bills of Lading, obtain quotes, stage and organize.
Assist with pulling orders for transfers between facilities. Load raw materials, create packing lists, transfer products within the system, pull down raw materials to tag, and restock.
Receive and review shipping manifest, packing slip from Customer Service Representative, and transfer documents. Communicate with production coordinator to obtain packing slips.
Verify that on-hand product matches packing slip and report any discrepancies.
Stage, wrap, and apply assigned labels for shipping.
Obtain online shipping quotes as needed.
Load trucks, maintaining proper weight distribution.
Enter shipment and tracking information into company systems.
Create bills of lading.
Perform trailer inspections.
